Member of Technical Staff, Retrieval & Indexing
Build and operate large-scale full-text web indexing systems, including corpus curation, searchable structures, quality/freshness signals, and fast, cost-effective query serving. Work spans information retrieval, distributed systems, and performance tuning, with trade-offs between classical and neural retrieval.
Member of Technical Staff, Search Ranking
Owns a multi-stage search ranking pipeline — candidate retrieval, lightweight first-pass ranking, and neural reranking — for a web-access infrastructure product used to build AI agents, optimizing relevance, latency, and compute cost.
Member of Technical Staff, Model Training
Own the training pipeline for models powering Parallel's web search and AI agents, including rankers, classifiers, query models, and agent planning/reasoning models. Work spans transformer fine-tuning, data curation, label quality, and rigorous evaluation to ship models to production traffic.
