Full Time Position

Windom Area Schools is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial position for the school district.

This is a 12-month full-time position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of custodial cleaning practices
• Special boiler license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to follow general cleaning & sanitizing procedures
• Ability to work independently/take direction
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. frequently
• Be able to maintain a clean/pleasant environment
• Must be familiar with electronic means of communication (emails, text messaging, radios, etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in facility management preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field

SALARY RANGE:

• Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $19.24 - $22.22 with life insurance, MN Paid Leave, PERA Retirement, 403(b) match.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

• 1st Class C Boiler License or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire.
