# 424085 Director - Application Security Architect ## Job Summary This is an individual contributor role with a focus on strategic design and innovation. The Director of Application Security Architect will develop and maintain a comprehensive application security architecture strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and regulatory requirements. ## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain a comprehensive application security architecture strategy. - Lead the design and implementation of secure application architectures for both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom-developed applications. - Integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that security is embedded in every phase of application development. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and IT teams to implement and enforce security controls and policies. - Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. - Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices, automating security testing and monitoring within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and trends in application security to inform strategic decisions. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security engineers and development teams. ## Qualifications - Strong understanding of application security principles and practices. - Experience with security compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI). - Proficiency in threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. - Familiarity with secure coding practices and security testing tools. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to evaluate and select security tools and technologies. - Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MTech, PhD) are preferred. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with AI/ML security considerations. - Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices. - Familiarity with network security principles. ## Experience - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in application security or related fields. - Proven experience in leading security architecture initiatives. ## Environment - Work location: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower. - Work type: Full-time. - Work mode: Hybrid. ## Salary - Estimated salary range: ₹14,000,000. ## Growth Opportunities - Opportunities for career advancement within the organization, including leadership roles in security architecture and strategy.
