Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the food processing sector across Japan
- Identify and convert new business opportunities into sustainable revenue growth
- Visit customer manufacturing sites to understand operational challenges and propose tailored solutions
- Build trust-based relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional and global priorities
- Collaborate with internal global teams (engineering, application specialists, and support teams) to deliver high-quality customer solutions
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive and consultative engagement
What You Bring
- 8–12+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to manage complex, solution-based sales cycles
- Experience in food processing, packaging, or industrial manufacturing is preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships in a Japanese business environment
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Willingness to travel domestically across Japan (typically 70-80%)
- Fluent Japanese (business level or native) and business-level English
