Accounting Analyst

The Accounting Analyst is an entry-level member of the Finance team who supports routine accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. The role also provides accounting support for Information Technology, Project Management, Software Development, and Corporate Real Estate.

This position is well suited for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop practical accounting experience. Working under the guidance of the Corporate Controller and other Finance team members, the Accounting Analyst will learn the organization’s systems and processes, maintain accurate financial records, and provide timely support to Finance and business partners.

This position is based in our Richardson, Texas office five days per week.

This role is in office 5 days a week at our Richardson, TX location.

Financial Reporting & Close

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across all ledgers.

General Ledger Activities

• Manage all aspects of general ledger activity, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or unusual trends.
• Review GL activity for compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Partner with internal teams to validate data and ensure proper cutoff and period recognition.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize GL workflows.

Accounting Operations

• Create and submit purchase orders
• Assist with the submission and tracking of Accounts Payable
• Maintain organized and complete accounting records.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide support for annual external audits and internal compliance activities.

Team & Cross-Functional Support

• Support and partner with the CFO, Controller, FP&A teams, Business Unit Leaders, Billing & Collections, Corporate Controllers, and Shared Services.
• Establish clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards within areas of responsibility.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline systems, processes, and reporting.
• Support system implementations or upgrades (ERP, AP automation, reporting tools, etc.).
