Description
* Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, factory accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
* Oversee industrial costing, including product costing, inventory valuation, production cost analysis, and variance reporting.
* Lead monthly and annual closing activities and prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
* Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations, applicable accounting standards, and free zone accounting requirements.
* Prepare budgets, monitor actual performance, and explain variances to support management decisions.
* Oversee accounting transactions and reporting through the Odoo ERP system, ensuring data accuracy.
* Maintain effective internal controls and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
* Supervise and develop the accounting team, assigning responsibilities and reviewing performance.
* Report financial results, cost trends, and key accounting matters to top management.
Requirements
* 8 min years of accounting management experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Experience in Egyptian free zone accounting.
* Strong technical knowledge of industrial costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis.
* Solid understanding of Egyptian taxation and applicable financial reporting standards.
* Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end and year-end closing.
* Hands-on ERP experience; familiarity with Odoo is preferred.
* Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage an accounting team and communicate financial information to senior management.
