Dover Public Schools is a progressive, culturally diverse school district in Morris County serving approximately 3,600 students, Pre-K through grade 12. Dover Department of Special Services is currently accepting applications for the position of an Anticipated High School Special Education Teacher for for Resource Room or Learning and/or Language Disabilities (LLD) and/or Co-teaching Math. The teacher should have experience working with students of varying math abilities.The teacher will modify learning materials and co-teach with the general education teacher to provide modifications and support to all special education students in either a pull-out resource room, setting or the general education classroom in accordance with the student's Individual Education Plan.

Qualifications

Must have a valid NJ Teacher of the Handicap Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities along with a Math content area certificate.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of how to modify instruction.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

Compensation:

$63,335 - $101,035
