Application Architect, ERP & Business Applications (Microsoft D365)
Description
We are looking for a
Application Architect, ERP & Business Applications (Microsoft D365)
Own the architecture that will run One Kiilto, starting with ERP and growing across our business applications.
About the role
Kiilto is building One ERP: one harmonized way of running finance, supply chain and manufacturing across the Group, designed once as a global blueprint and rolled out market by market.
As our Application Architect, you will be the design authority for this solution, from the global template through roll-outs and continuous improvement. Over time, your responsibilities will grow to include the business applications around it. You will work closely with business process owners, the One ERP programme team, BTO experts and implementation partners. The role is part of the Business Technology Office (BTO) and reports to CIO.
The role is based in Lempäälä, Turku, Helsinki or another suitable Kiilto location, with the possibility for hybrid work and travel to Kiilto sites as needed.
What you will do
- Own the ERP architecture: define and maintain the global template, design principles and architecture documentation for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Act as design authority: review and approve solution designs, fit-gap decisions and extensions, keeping customization focused on genuine business value.
- Translate harmonized processes into a scalable solution: turn Group processes in finance, procurement, inventory, warehousing, production and planning into a reusable global model.
- Shape integration and data architecture: work with BTO's integration and data experts on APIs, events, Power Platform, Azure services, master data and data migration.
- Steer partners and control complexity: safeguard architecture quality, programme scope, technical debt and total cost of ownership across roll-outs.
- Build the wider application architecture practice: create standards, roadmaps and lifecycle decisions for the business applications connected to One ERP.
- Keep the solution secure and update-ready: guide security and role design, environments, application lifecycle management and Microsoft's continuous update cadence.
- Develop Kiilto's own capability: coach key users, analysts and developers, and evaluate relevant Copilot and AI-agent opportunities within Kiilto's governance model.
What we hope you bring
At the heart of this role is solid Dynamics 365 experience. Ideally, you have around seven years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management or Dynamics AX, including an architect or lead role in full-lifecycle implementations. In addition, we hope you bring:
- Experience of global templates and multi-country roll-outs, ideally in manufacturing, together with a good understanding of finance and supply chain processes. Process manufacturing experience is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem, i.e. Power Platform, Dataverse, Fabric, Azure integration services, data entities and data migration.
- The confidence to explain architecture choices to both business leaders and technical teams, and to work constructively with external partners.
- A relevant master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English. Finnish and/or Swedish is an advantage.
Experience with CRM, PLM, MES or e-commerce, or with application portfolio management, TOGAF or architecture governance, would be a bonus.
What we offer
This is a chance to build something and stay to see it work. You will design the blueprint for One ERP and follow it through the roll-outs and into everyday use, developing it further as Kiilto grows. As our internal design authority, your decisions will genuinely shape the outcome. Over time, you can help shape Kiilto's wider business application landscape and connect it with process harmonization, data and AI, and cybersecurity.
