(Assistant - Deputy) AML Manager, Transaction Monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Investigation suspicious transactions related to financial crimes and prepare STRs
• Formulate and maintain the Bank's AML policies and procedures
• Support the implementation and maintenance of transaction monitoring systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning models and other Regtech solutions, with development skills will be better
• Data processing capabilities, including data analysis, data processing, and data integration, enabling the transformation from basic data to application data in accordance with anti-money laundering business requirements
• Continuously monitor and analyze AI model performance and provide optimization recommendations, ability to directly modify the program to implement optimizations is preferred;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external parties including business stakeholders, inhouse IT and solution vendors;
• Research emerging artificial intelligence trends and models, and integrate the new techniques to enhance model capabilities
• Manage special assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in preferably Law, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Mathematics, Statistics or relevant disciplines
• 3 years of experience in AML / KYC field for Manager role
• Less experience may be considered for Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager roles, Candidate with more experience would be considered as Senior Manager.
• Strong understanding of AML regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, SQL, VBA and machine learning libraries
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning and statistical methods
• Strong problem-solving ability with passion for analytic excellence, able to manage complex scenario challenges simultaneously and work independently under pressure and meeting tight deadline
• Competent in report writing and presentations
• Professional qualification in AML (e.g. AAMLP / CAMLP / CAMS) is an advantage
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
