We’re looking for an Assistant Director to join our department’s leadership team and be its face in the field. You’ll lead and coach a team of 3-5+ talent specialists and be the trusted partner who connects operations leaders with the learning, HR and systems teams who can bring their ideas to life.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow your team. Coach your team, help them develop, and help shape department priorities as part of the leadership team.
• Bring training ideas to life. Listen to what operations leaders want, advise on what’s possible, and partner with our learning and content team until the finished training fits what they pictured.
• Help people grow. Facilitate performance review cycles and career development programs that help our people take their next step.
• Support hiring across the company. Guide the team that helps hiring managers hire well, step in on hard-to-fill roles, and prepare salaried offer letters.
• Make things simpler. Know our workflows inside and out, and use data, automation and AI to cut manual work for the field.

What you’ll bring

• A passion for connecting with and supporting people.
• 5+ years in talent management, learning and development, organizational development or HR; including 3+ years leading a team.
• Experience with performance review support, training programs and career development initiatives.
• Experience supporting hiring in a multi-site environment; high-volume hourly hiring is a plus.
• Experience with salaried offer letters.
• A creative eye for designing polished, visually appealing materials.
• Confidence presenting and facilitating with any group.
• UKG Ready experience is a plus.
