The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and contributing to revenue growth through strategic business development activities. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Assist in developing and executing strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across domestic and international freight forwarding services.
• Generate leads and actively engage prospective customers to expand the client portfolio.
• Support business growth initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Client Relationship Management

• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers through regular engagement.
• Understand customer logistics requirements and recommend suitable freight solutions.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service support.
• Assist in developing long-term partnerships with clients and key stakeholders.

Commercial Support

• Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender submissions.
• Participate in client meetings and business development discussions.
• Assist in negotiating commercial terms and service agreements where required.
• Support the sales team in achieving business development targets.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and market trends.
• Monitor industry developments, customer requirements, and emerging logistics solutions.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations to support business strategy.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of clients.
• Support internal coordination to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business development activities.
• Track business opportunities and revenue performance against targets.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or the supply chain industry.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics services.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and logistics documentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve business development targets.
• Strong customer relationship management and networking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
