Assistant Production Manager- Nightshift
Description
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing day-to-day production operations to ensure efficient processes and high-quality output
- Monitor production schedules and workflows, making necessary adjustments to optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with team members to implement safety and hygiene standards across all production lines
- Assist in training and mentoring production staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Help coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for production equipment to minimize downtime
- Analyse production metrics and prepare reports on efficiency, quality control, and waste reduction
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve production goals
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders
- Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays
Hours of work - Sunday to Thursday 21:45-06:30
