# Associate Lead operations Analyst ## Job Summary This role focuses on providing support for mainframe operations, specifically using CA7 and Control M. The position is critical for ensuring seamless job scheduling and resource management in a mainframe environment. ## Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain job schedules in CA7 and Control M to ensure proper execution. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to mainframe job processing and scheduling. - Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize job flows and improve system performance. - Document procedures and updates for job management processes. - Participate in on-call support as needed to address urgent mainframe-related incidents. ## Qualifications - **Technical skills:** Proficiency in CA7 job scheduling and Mainframe Support; familiarity with Control M. - **Soft skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communication skills. - **Certifications:** Relevant IT certifications are a plus, particularly in mainframe technologies. - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with other job scheduling tools is advantageous. - Knowledge of mainframe programming languages (e.g. COBOL, JCL) is a plus. ## Experience Prior experience in mainframe environments and job scheduling of at least 2-3 years is preferred. ## Environment This role is typically situated in an IT department within a corporate environment, possibly requiring on-call support for night or weekend shifts.
