Requirements / Qualifications

Resume must be included with application
CPR and First Aid Certificates are required
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training Certificate is required
Concussion in Sports Training Certificate is required
Must meet coaching theory and techniques requirements

Comments and Other Information

The season is January through mid March
Job Duties and Qualifications: Knowledge of coaching theory and techniques in basketball; knowledge of the rules and regulations of basketball; knowledge and competence in the areas of adolescent psychology, care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic sports injury first aid, and emergency procedures; no prior convictions related to an unfitness to associate with children; and free from contagious diseases.
