Bus Driver Trainee (0.75 FTE) - Transportation

Job Summary

Monday - Friday
30 hours per week (Averaging 6.00 hours per day)
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM
1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Bilingual in Spanish desired. Successful bilingual applicant will be paid an additional stipend of $96 per month. This stipend will be pro-rated for positions that are less than 40 hours a week.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must have an appropriate California Operator’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
Fingerprint clearance required. There is a fingerprint processing fee payable by the employee post-offer / pre-placement.
The applicant will need to submit evidence that he or she is free from tuberculosis in accordance with Education Code 49406.
Offer of employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer / pre-placement physical.
Offer of employment is contingent upon DMV driver record clearance.

It is required that current DMV H-6 report be included in the application. Air brake and passenger endorsement, commercial license, first aid and school bus driver certificate required with application.
