About Swarmia
Swarmia is the engineering intelligence platform that gives engineering and product leaders one place to see how their teams work, how they feel, and where the investment goes — and the tools to act on what they find. Some of the best software companies in the world, including Miro, Supabase, Honeycomb, and Lovable, use it to measure and improve the business impact of engineering and AI.
We raised our $11M Series A in June 2025 and we’re growing fast. We’re an experienced team with high standards and a low tolerance for nonsense. We stay close to our customers, move quickly, and take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
The Role
You will be one of the first dedicated BDRs building Swarmia’s outbound motion in North America. You will create high-quality pipeline by researching, personalizing, and engaging engineering leaders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Directors of Engineering, Platform, and DevEx).
This is a high-ownership role. You will design and run multi-channel sequences, experiment with messaging and channels, and help shape how we sell to technical buyers.
What you will do
Own outbound pipeline generation for your territory, with a focus on engineering leader personas.
Research accounts and stakeholders in depth so every outreach feels relevant across email, LinkedIn, video, calls, and creative touches.
Design, test, and iterate on multi-channel sequences and messaging. Run experiments, document what works, and scale the winners.
Run early discovery conversations that uncover real pain and set up well-qualified opportunities for Account Executives.
Partner closely with AEs, Marketing, and Product on messaging, ideal customer profiles, and competitive intelligence.
Keep CRM hygiene and data quality high so the team can trust the pipeline.
Use AI tools thoughtfully to speed up research and personalization without sacrificing relevance or brand voice.
What you bring
Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can write outreach that feels human and relevant to technical audiences.
Curiosity about how engineering organizations actually work, and a willingness to learn our product and the space deeply.
Resilience and a track record of consistent activity and results in a sales or customer-facing role. One to three years preferred, ideally in SaaS or developer tools.
Comfort taking ownership in a motion that is still evolving.
Genuine interest in developer productivity, engineering intelligence, or adjacent technical domains.
Nice to have
Experience selling to engineering leaders, or in developer tools, observability, or engineering intelligence.
Familiarity with modern sales tooling and AI-assisted research or personalization workflows.
