CAD Design - Seat Component

What you can expect:

• Creation of concept sections and concept models
• Detailing, optimization, and series-ready development of design solutions, taking into account installation space, tolerances, material, and manufacturing requirements (especially injection molding, thermoforming, welding, laminating, foaming)
• Development of fastening and assembly concepts
• Development of alignment concepts
• Creation of specification models for strak development or interfaces
• Derivation of 2D drawings suitable for approval
• Preparation of CAD data in accordance with customer specifications for releases
• Publication of data in the customer's PDM system

What you bring to the table:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• First professional experience in the design and development of automotive seat components.

• Independent CAD design using CATIA V5 for components and assemblies in the interior and seating areas
• Timely processing of assigned work packages and transparent communication in the event of risks or deviations
• Development of parametric and update-stable CAD models and ensuring data quality

• Good communication and technical discussion skills in English.
