As a Chef de Partie at British Pullman, A Belmond Train, you are part of a team that creates and produces the highest quality cuisine. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing the mise en place required for a smooth kitchen operation and ensuring that the section is set prior to service.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards for the kitchen.
- Ensuring that the quality & quantity standards of preparation and presentation are adhered to.
- Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues.
- Directing, guiding and assisting commis chefs.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
- 1-2 years’ relevant experience within a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
- A diploma or relevant certificate from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
- Good administration skills and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge and understanding of food and wine.
