# Cloud Network Engineer ## Company Overview *Company details not specified.* ## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled **Cloud Network Engineer** with expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage cloud-based network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure networking services, security, and hybrid cloud connectivity, ensuring seamless and secure cloud operations aligned with business needs. ## Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and manage Azure networking solutions including **Virtual Networks (VNets)**, **Subnets**, **Network Security Groups (NSGs)**, **Azure Firewall**, **Azure VPN Gateway**, and **ExpressRoute**. - Implement and maintain hybrid cloud network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure environments. - Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and security issues within the Azure cloud. - Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and application owners to ensure network infrastructure meets scalability, reliability, and security standards. - Configure and manage Azure **Load Balancers**, **Application Gateway**, and **Traffic Manager** for high availability and optimized traffic routing. - Implement network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and **zero-trust security models** in Azure. - Automate network deployments and configurations using **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools like **Azure Resource Manager (ARM)** templates, **Terraform**, or **PowerShell**. - Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures. - Stay updated on Azure networking best practices, new features, and security advisories. - Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network infrastructure. ## Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as a **Network Engineer** or **Cloud Network Engineer**, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. - Strong knowledge of Azure networking services: **VNets**, **NSGs**, **Azure Firewall**, **VPN Gateway**, **ExpressRoute**, **Azure DNS**, and **Load Balancers**. - Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions and network security in cloud environments. - Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform). - Understanding of **TCP/IP**, **DNS**, routing, switching, **VPNs**, and network security principles. - Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as **Azure Monitor**, **Network Watcher**, and **Log Analytics**. - Azure certifications like **AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer Associate)** or equivalent are preferred. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with multi-cloud networking (AWS, GCP) is a plus. - Knowledge of **firewall management**, **intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)**. - Understanding of **DevOps practices** and **CI/CD pipelines** for network automation. - Experience with **container networking** (Kubernetes, **Azure AKS**). ## Experience *Experience requirements not specified.* ## Environment *Work environment details not specified.* ## Salary *Salary information not specified.* ## Growth Opportunities *Career advancement opportunities not specified.* ## Benefits *Benefits information not specified.*
