Community & Events Coordinator

I’m working on my next indie game and I’m looking for a Community & Events Coordinator to help me get it in front of players. Juniors are welcome, as long as you have the right skills for the job. If you love games, enjoy talking to people and are great at keeping things on track, keep reading!

Work Where You Live

This is a small indie project, so the work is mostly remote. You need to live in Ontario, Canada and be able to travel within the province and across the country.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Find and recruit playtesters, and help run playtest sessions, both in person and online
* Help plan and attend local events in Ontario, plus remote and online events
* Set up booths and demos, and talk to players about the game
* Keep event operations running and things organized behind the scenes
* Gather player feedback and share it with me

What I’m Looking For

* Eligible to work in Ontario, Canada
* Passion for games and gaming communities
* Comfortable talking to people, both in person and online
* Strong organization skills and attention to detail
* Able to manage schedules, logistics and several tasks at once
* Fully fluent in professional English, both verbal and written
* Bonus: experience with playtesting, events, community management or Discord

Other Requirements

* Live in Ontario, Canada
* Able to travel within Ontario and across Canada for events

Compensation

* This is a paid role, with pay based on your experience
* Flexible work hours
