Cook/Server (two, 3 hour openings)

The Festus School District has an immediate opening for the position of:
Cook/Server (2 Positions) for the 2026-27 School Year

Qualifications: Minimum of HS Diploma. Food Service experience preferred.

Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour minimum. Pay rate dependent upon prior experience.

Hours: 10:30am – 1:30pm, Monday – Friday when school is in session.

Deadline: Open until filled.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Preparation of food following sanitary guidelines.
• Serves students/ staff in a pleasant and efficient manner.
• Assumes responsibility for seeing to it that during meal service periods the supply of foods offered is replenished regularly.
• Daily clean-up of kitchen. Performs cleaning of refrigerator, storage areas and kitchen at regularly scheduled intervals as directed by Cafeteria manager.
• Assists with storage and reuse of unused food.
• Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
