Job Overview

Achieve successful resolution of legal issues for Mercedes Benz with respect to the company's, and its subsidiaries, business activities.

Responsibilities\:

Contract Drafting and Commercial Transactions

· Prepare, draft, and analyze contracts and contract terms related to a variety of customer, vendor, trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters to protect MBNAC’s and its subsidiaries legal and business interests, Ensure Mercedes Benz commercial rights are protected through negotiating and drafting agreements.

· Ensure other departments are properly informed of legal issues relating to their activities by consultation and communication and maintenance of sufficient familiarity of antitrust, employment, franchise, contract, construction, tort, lemon law, warranty, environmental, consumer protection and product liability laws.

· Provide legal support with respect to complex business transactions including contract interpretation, attending and leading meetings, drafting and responding to key communications, issue resolution and dispute management.

General Corporate Matters

· Provide practical legal advice and support to the business on a broad range of general corporate matters, including identifying and assessing legal risks, advising on applicable legal requirements and internal policies, and assisting with the resolution of day-to-day legal and business issues.

· Perform other legal duties and responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to meet evolving business and Legal Department needs.
