Custodian (2026-2027)

Description:
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) requirements related to assignment. Knowledge of custodial
procedures and equipment. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to
communicate effectively with faculty, students, parents, visitors and subordinates. Ability to
work harmoniously with custodial staff. Ability to organize and establish priorities. Ability to
maintain records and reports. Ability to train new employees in proper custodial procedures and
use of equipment. Ability to perform minor repairs to equipment, building and grounds.

Job Summary:

To provide care, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the school plant and grounds
for the students and staff at a large school.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Three (3) years successful custodial experience.
3. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Salary Information: Support Personnel. Pay Grade 8. Two hundred fifty days worked per year (12 months). FLSA Non-Exempt.
