\ JD - Azure Data Engineer Experience- 5 years+ Remote \ Job Description: We are seeking experienced Azure Data Engineers with strong expertise in modern data platforms and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Snowflake, Python, and traditional ETL/Data Warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks. Perform data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Spark and Python. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting. Integrate with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms for advanced analytics. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in data pipelines. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Databricks (Spark-based transformations) Azure Data Factory (ADF pipelines, triggers, integration runtime) SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) Python (for scripting and data processing) ETL tools and Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts Snowflake. Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD practices. Good understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning. Nice to Have: Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Power BI. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.
