Join our Aero Data and AI Enablement organization to design and build the data solutions powering next‑generation AI capabilities. You’ll work on enterprise‑scale data platforms that support mission‑critical objectives in a secure environment, focusing on Aero MES Acceleration for seamless data‑and‑analytics reporting and other Aero Data Analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and warehouses that collect, ingest, process, store, and deliver data at scale.
• Apply systems‑engineering principles across the data lifecycle: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data quickly and securely.
• Work with local, distributed, and cloud technologies, implementing data virtualization, smart caching, and robust security/authentication for classified information.
• Develop ETL processes that clean, transform, and aggregate unstructured data into analysis‑ready sources.
• Own the end‑to‑end data solution lifecycle: profile data, create conceptual, logical, and models, define functional capabilities, security specifications, backup/recovery, and performance optimizations.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to ensure timely business support.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years supporting AI/ML systems - traditional business intelligence and data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling, and reporting)
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data/system architecture
• Strong proficiency in Python or NiFi or SQL
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
• Understanding of data security principles, including encryption, access control
• Familiar with Safe Agile framework

• Master's degree in a related technical field
• Experience in Databricks, SAP HANA/BODS
