# Devops Architect ## Company Overview *(Not specified)* ## Job Summary We are seeking a **Cloud Engineer** who will play a critical role in supporting the migration initiative from **Amazon Web Services (AWS)** to **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. This position involves assessing the existing AWS landscape, identifying underutilized services, formulating backup plans, and determining feasible applications for migration to GCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting assessments with extensive experience in both AWS and GCP. ## Responsibilities - Perform assessments of existing AWS environments to identify underutilized services and applications. - Develop a comprehensive plan for backing up and sunsetting services that are no longer needed. - Identify applications and services suitable for migration to GCP. - Assist in discovery and assessment of AWS environments to inform migration strategies. - Support migration planning and roadmap execution. - Provision resources in GCP and automate migration workflows. - Ensure reliability, performance, and cost optimization of workloads in the cloud. ## Qualifications - Minimum of **15 years of experience** in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and GCP. - Strong expertise in consulting assessments related to cloud migrations. - Hands-on experience with **infrastructure as code** tools such as **Terraform** or **Deployment Manager**. - Proven track record in executing migration projects from AWS to GCP. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and optimize cloud environments. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies. - Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. ## Experience - A minimum of 15 years in cloud architecture, particularly focusing on AWS and GCP environments. - Extensive experience in cloud migration projects and assessments. ## Environment - This is a **remote** position, allowing for flexible work arrangements. ## Salary *(Not specified)* ## Growth Opportunities *(Not specified)* ## Benefits *(Not specified)*
