Our client is seeking an accomplished construction leader to oversee residential building operations across Florida. Focus

• Direct residential construction operations across multiple Florida projects, ensuring alignment with financial targets, construction schedules, staffing requirements, and business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate Project Managers, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability for successful project execution.
• Oversee the complete construction lifecycle, including preconstruction handoffs, site readiness, vertical construction, inspections, homeowner turnover, closeout, and warranty coordination.
• Manage project financial performance through budget oversight, profitability forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, cash flow planning, change order administration, and margin protection.
• Drive field execution by monitoring construction progress, coordinating trade partners, resolving operational challenges, and implementing schedule recovery strategies.
• Maintain high standards for construction quality, jobsite safety, and regulatory compliance, including Florida-specific building requirements and environmental considerations.
• Strengthen operational consistency through standardized procedures, executive reporting, and disciplined Buildertrend adoption for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
• Partner with internal teams, subcontractors, and customer-facing personnel to improve project readiness, manage construction risks, and deliver a positive homeowner experience.

Skill Set

• Proven senior-level leadership experience in residential construction, including direct management, coaching, performance evaluation, and accountability of Project Managers.
• Strong knowledge of Florida construction practices, including Florida Building Code requirements, coastal construction, high-wind conditions, flood considerations, environmental regulations, and local permitting requirements.
• Demonstrated financial expertise in construction budgeting, project profitability, cost-to-complete forecasting, cash flow management, change orders, and margin optimization.
• Experience managing multiple residential construction projects simultaneously, from preconstruction transition through vertical construction, final turnover, closeout, and warranty.
• Strong field leadership capabilities, including schedule recovery, subcontractor coordination, trade performance management, construction quality control, and jobsite safety enforcement.
• Proficiency with Buildertrend, with the ability to drive team adoption, maintain accurate project records, and enforce consistent documentation and reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing strong teams and collaborating effectively with executives, field personnel, and customers.
• Strategic and results-oriented mindset with sound commercial judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain an active field presence while overseeing regional operations.
