District Behavior Support Specialist

Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid California driver's license.
Possess or obtain a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certificate, First Aid certificate, and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency within 30 days of employment

Minimum one letter of recommendation (Letter must have handwritten signature, and not be older than 1 year)

Comments and Other Information

Prior to final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District. The examination may also include a urinalysis for drug screening. The candidate must also receive fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice.
