Driver Education Instructor

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a part-time Driver Education Instructor. The district is seeking a dedicated, engaging part-time Driver Education Instructor to help students develop the skill judgment, and confidence needed to become safe, responsible drivers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives through practical instruction and positive mentorship.

Description: Provide in-person classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training; reinforce safe driving practices and New York State traffic laws; assess student progress; and maintain accurate grades and attendance records

Required Credentials: NYS Driver Education Certification.

Preferred Credentials: An enthusiastic, dependable educator who communicates clearly, works patiently with students of varying experience levels, and creates a supportive, safety-focused learning environment. Strong organization skills and a commitment to student success.

Schedule: The district hosts 3 sessions per year (fall, winter/spring, and summer). Hours may vary per week (approximately 12-22 hours) depending on session size.

Salary: $40 - $45 per hour, based on experience.
