Technatomy is seeking a Dynamics 365 Mobile Application Developer to build mobile and scanner-enabled receiving workflows for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) pharmacy traceability project. You make barcode capture reliable and transaction status clear for site staff. You work with developers, functional consultants, accessibility specialists, and device engineers to validate usability and behavior on approved receiving devices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and extend mobile receiving workflows associated with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.

• Implement GS1 capture for SSCC (AI 00), GTIN (AI 01), lot (AI 10), expiry (AI 17), and serial (AI 21), preserving raw scans, separators, and leading zeros.

• Develop user interactions for package and parent-child relationships, receiving exceptions, and transaction confirmation.

• Handle repeated scans, interrupted requests, connectivity failures, and delayed responses while keeping pending actions visible and preventing duplicate or unconfirmed receiving outcomes.

• Integrate mobile actions with approved SCM services and menu-item barcode policies, preserving correlation details and showing SAP receipt IDs, pending states, and synchronization status.

• Test workflows on supported scanners and devices with functional, accessibility, and performance testers.

• Document device behavior, application changes, configuration dependencies, and troubleshooting guidance for rollout and support.

• Validate scanning sequences and user feedback across supported device configurations, including invalid barcodes, package hierarchy changes, and recovery after interrupted sessions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in application development, including mobile or scanner-enabled workflows.

• Experience developing or extending mobile workflows integrated with Dynamics 365 finance and operations applications.

• Experience with barcode capture, parsing, validation, and device-driven transaction workflows.

• Ability to integrate application services and handle errors, repeated submissions, and interrupted requests.

• Working knowledge of mobile usability, input validation, and testing across supported device configurations.

• Ability to troubleshoot application and device interactions and maintain clear technical documentation.

• Ability to diagnose problems across barcode input, device behavior, application state, and service responses and translate findings into reliable mobile interactions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Warehouse Management mobile workflows, GS1 field mappings, and supported mobile extension mechanisms.

• Familiarity with GS1 identifiers, pharmaceutical serialization, or SAP traceability integration.

• Experience validating keyboard, assistive technology, or accessibility behavior in operational applications.

• Prior experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal agency applications or projects.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

WORK LOCATION:

• Remote
