Description
- Define and own the ECAD library architecture, including data models, classification schemes, naming conventions, and attribute structures
- Establish global library standards, guidelines, and governance rules
- Ensure scalability, reusability, and long-term maintainability of ECAD libraries
- Act as the central authority for architectural decisions related to ECAD libraries
- Architect and optimize the integration between ECAD tools and surrounding systems (MCAD, PLM, component databases, ERP)
- Define interfaces, data flows, and automation concepts for library creation and maintenance
- Act as escalation point for complex library-related issues
- Work closely with hardware design, component engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Translate business and engineering requirements into sustainable library solutions
- Influence and align stakeholders without direct line authority
