Job Title: Electrical/Control Engineer

Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi/ Hai Duong/ Bacninh)

We are now expanding with a new high tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Primary Purpose

Design, develop, and troubleshoot electrical control systems, PLC programs, robot programming, and automation solutions for production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop concepts, select devices, and design electrical/control systems for new machines.

· Create PLC programs, robot programs, wiring diagrams, and control software.

· Work with suppliers on machine design; support machine building, debugging, trials, and mass‑production readiness.

· Prepare operation instructions, machine setup documents, and follow production feedback.

· Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues during trial and pre‑mass production phases.

· Improve machine performance, capability, and cost efficiency with engineering, production, and quality teams.

· Manage BOMs, assembly diagrams, and maintain accurate I/O maps.

· Support suppliers during machine setup and testing.

· Comply with 6S, Kaizen, EHS, Social Responsibility, and company policies.

· Support TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EHS systems.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Required: University degree
Preferred: Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering

Experience

Required: Minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred: Experience in automation, machine design, PLC programming, C++, microcontroller or robot programming

Skills & Abilities

· Ability to read/create technical documents

· Strong knowledge of automation and manufacturing processes

· PLC, robot, vision system programming, and C++ coding

· Good MS Office skills

· English communication (Japanese is a plus)

· High initiative, carefulness, integrity, willingness to learn

· Strong communication, analysis, and teamwork skills

· Ability to work overtime when required
