Embedded Firmware Engineer (C++)

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer specializing in C++ to develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern C++ and embedded Linux, with a strong focus on testing and quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement embedded firmware in C++ for various applications.

• Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and validation processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and applications.

• Participate in the entire firmware development lifecycle from requirements analysis to maintenance.

• Continuously explore and implement improvements in firmware development processes.

Key Requirements:

• Modern C++ (C++17) on embedded Linux; Python is a plus

• Experience with Yocto, kernels and BSPs

• A strong testing mindset, including unit testing, BDD and CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitbucket)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1 and ISO 15118

• Experience with EVerest or comparable open-source charging stacks

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
