Description
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture within a defined domain, concentrating either on Order Management (offer-to-cash) and Manufacturing (item-to-product), or on Customer & Commercial Management, covering eCommerce and customer relations (CRM). Within this role, you will shape target architecture, create roadmaps, and drive enterprise transformation by participating actively in current projects.
Responsibilities
- Define, steward, and continuously maintain the Domain Architecture across baseline (current), transition, and target states
- Co-own and evolve the Business Capability Map and application landscape within the domain alongside Value Stream Owners (VSOs)
- Clarify System of Record (SoR) definitions, data ownership, and integration boundaries across target and transitional states
- Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and consistency across all domain capabilities
- Translate enterprise architecture principles and strategic roadmaps into actionable, domain-specific direction
- Own and maintain the 12–24 Month Domain Roadmap, identifying modernization needs and technical debt reduction opportunities
- Lead Solution Demand Definitions during initiative intake to assess domain impacts of new business initiatives and portfolio changes
- Provide domain-specific principles, standards, functional building blocks, and reusable patterns to guide Solution Architects and Digital Product Teams
- Review solution designs for domain alignment and identify reuse opportunities to prevent domain fragmentation
- Facilitate Architectural Decision-Making
- Present on the Domain Architecture Forum to drive peer alignment and continuous review of domain artifacts
- Act as the domain authority in formal governance gates, including the Enterprise Architecture Board and Solution Architecture Board
- Assess domain-level deviations and exception requests, escalating cross-domain or enterprise-impacting decisions when required
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Domain Architect, Senior Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect in a complex, multi-domain enterprise environment
- Experience and understanding of business in one of the following domains: Order Management, Manufacturing, Customer & Commercial Management
- Strong command of Business Capability Modeling, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts, application portfolio evolution, and enterprise integration patterns
- Demonstrated experience producing 12–24 month architectural roadmaps, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and Buy vs. Build / Fit-Gap evaluations
- Familiarity with L1/L2 business process mapping and master data / System of Record (SoR) governance
- Comfortable influencing without unilateral mandate — able to distill complex technical trade-offs into clear, objective evidence for business and engineering leaders
- Able to bridge high-level enterprise strategy and pragmatic solution delivery without micromanaging product teams
- Experience participating in architecture forums or boards and navigating exception management constructively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM
- Skills in solution architecture
- Understanding of supply chain management and supply chain platforms
