Events Marketing Manager - 12 month FTC
Description
Want to join a team of passionate people who want to build a future where no one dies from skin cancer?
👋 About us
We're an AI Health Tech company in the UK and Europe, leading from the front in the AI Diagnostics space.
Our AI Platform, DERM, is the UK’s and Europe’s first autonomous Class III AI as a medical device, certified to the same safety standard as a pacemaker. Independently proven to perform at least as well as a face-to-face dermatologist assessment, our technology is giving millions of people access to a fast and accurate way to detect skin cancer, saving significant time and costs for global healthcare systems and improving outcomes for patients. DERM has been an integrated part of NHS dermatology pathways for over six years and is already in use in 25 NHS Trusts, and trusted by private health providers including Bupa and Vitality. It has assessed over 300,000 patients and found more than 25,000 cancers, validated by histopathology, the diagnostic gold standard.
We are fast growing, raised £15M in series B funding in 2025, and are scaling across Europe - with regulatory approvals underway in other regions. In June 2026, we launched DERM Zero, the world' s first Class III regulated medical device technology to deliver autonomous clinical grade skin cancer assessments from a smartphone, changing the way that people can access clinically validated skin cancer checks.
If working for one of Time Magazine World’s Top Health Tech Companies appeals then we’d like to hear from you. We are hiring across science, technology, product, operations and commercial.
Role
This position is a 12 month maternity cover. You will join a high-performing marketing team working cross-functionally to drive brand presence and deliver the event strategy for 2027. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will own our events and outbound activity across the UK, Ireland and European markets (covering the NHS, Private Hospitals and Private Medical Insurers).
This is a versatile, high-impact role spanning strategic planning, hands-on event execution, full lead-lifecycle management via HubSpot, plus agency management.
Key Responsibilities
Brand integration: Integrate and launch our brand’s new creative style across all event touchpoints.
Strategic Ownership: Lead and execute the end-to-end events strategy across UK, Ireland and international markets, spanning external industry conferences, partner events, webinars and in-house roundtables.
Sponsorship Portfolio Management: Seamlessly manage diverse event formats and sponsorship activations - including keynote presentations, expert panel sessions, fireside chats, webinars and exhibition stands.
End-to-End Logistics & Operations: Oversee all event operations, merchandise, shipping, couriers and on-site setup. Partner with our new fulfilment agency to streamline supply chain and logistics execution.
Content & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, commercial leads and senior industry stakeholders to produce compelling speaker briefs, presentation content and messaging that resonates with key audiences (working closely with the Marketing Manager)
HubSpot & Lead Lifecycle: Drive lead generation, capture and segment routing using HubSpot. Ensure clean data transfer, pass sales-ready leads to the Commercial team and build nurturing workflows for longer-term pipeline.
Integrated Outbound Campaigns: Execute multi-touch outbound and email campaigns alongside events to drive registration, pre-event buzz and post-event momentum.
ROI & Analytics: Track, measure and report on campaign and event performance using HubSpot and analytics tools. Continually optimise conversion metrics, cost-per-lead and pipeline impact.
Budget & Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with event organisers, vendors and partners while maintaining strict ownership of the agreed event budgets.
Required Skills & Experience:
Events & Outbound Expertise: Proven track record in an events and outbound marketing role, ideally within regulated B2B health tech, MedTech, digital health or the NHS ecosystem.
Lead Management Systems: Hands-on experience using HubSpot (or equivalent CRM/Marketing Automation tools) to manage lead capture, pipeline scoring, routing to sales and campaign attribution.
End-to-End Delivery: Demonstrated experience handling multi-format sponsorships (booths, panels, speaking slots, webinars) and managing event operations, merch, and fulfilment agency relationships.
Stakeholder & Content Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief executive speakers, engage senior clinicians and write persuasive campaign copy.
Data-Driven & Organised: Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple concurrent event timelines and making data-backed decisions to demonstrate ROI.
Compliance Awareness: Strong understanding of GDPR and data privacy standards in customer acquisition.
Nice to Have:
Direct experience within the NHS, UK healthcare sector or European healthcare markets.
Hands-on familiarity with content design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma) or web platforms (WordPress).
