Facilities Technician / Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

The Role:

As part of our Facilities team, you will play an important role in ensuring that our machinery, equipment and technical infrastructure remain safe, reliable and fully operational.

In this varied and hands-on position, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and supporting our technical equipment and facilities, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our site.

We are looking for a technically minded individual who enjoys practical work, identifying technical challenges and independently finding solutions. You will join a diverse technical environment where you can apply your skills and make a direct contribution to the reliability and efficiency of our facilities.

What you will be doing:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and technical facilities.
• Perform regular inspections and checks to ensure machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational.
• Identify, analyse and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out appropriate repairs within your level of technical competence.
• Support general maintenance activities and a variety of practical and technical tasks across the site.
• Proactively address maintenance issues to minimise equipment downtime and maintain operational availability.
• Contribute to the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the site's technical infrastructure.

About You:

You are a practical and technically minded individual who enjoys identifying problems, finding solutions and taking ownership of your work.

You have a structured, reliable and solution-oriented approach and are comfortable working independently while remaining flexible to support a variety of technical and maintenance activities.

You will ideally bring:

• Practical experience in the maintenance, servicing or repair of machinery and technical equipment.
• Good mechanical knowledge, with electrical skills or practical electrical experience considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as an Industrial Mechanic, Machinist, Toolmaker, Mechatronics Technician or a comparable technical qualification.
• Strong technical understanding, practical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to independently identify technical issues, systematically troubleshoot problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• A flexible, reliable and responsible working style, with a willingness to undertake a variety of facilities and maintenance activities.
