Field Technology & Infrastructure Manager

Are you a technology leader who enjoys solving problems, supporting teams, and driving IT excellence across multiple locations? PIPESTONE is looking for a Field Technology & Infrastructure Manager to lead our field technology operations, support critical infrastructure, and help ensure our teams stay connected and productive across offices, farms, and facilities.

What You'll Do:

✅ Lead the installation, maintenance, and support of technology equipment and infrastructure across the organization
✅ Coordinate and manage deployments of computers, tablets, smartphones, servers, access points, and network equipment
✅ Provide support for network infrastructure, firewalls, backup systems, NAS appliances, security cameras, and other IT systems
✅ Respond to IT service requests and help resolve technical issues efficiently
✅ Utilize remote monitoring and management tools for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support
✅ Travel to PIPESTONE farms and offices to install, upgrade, and maintain technology systems
✅ Support and develop Field Technology Technicians through coaching, training, and performance feedback
✅ Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new team members
✅ Foster a customer-focused, collaborative, and accountable team culture

What We're Looking For:

✔ Strong knowledge of Windows-based computer systems in a business environment
✔ Understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and IT infrastructure
✔ Experience with VPNs and VLANs is highly beneficial
✔ Leadership experience is preferred
✔ Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
✔ Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices
✔ Experience with help desk or ticketing systems is a plus
✔ CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or related credentials are a plus
✔ Computer Science degree or related field is preferred, but not required
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:

• Agricultural office environments and rural locations
• Bio-secure farm facilities
• Travel to PIPESTONE-owned and managed farms and offices as needed
• Hybrid work environment with a mix of office, remote, and field responsibilities
