Forward Deployed Engineer

You will embed with customer organizations to identify high-value use cases and deliver production-grade AI systems. You will take work from discovery through launch, monitoring, iteration, and support; integrate systems with customer workflows; measure outcomes; and turn field learnings into reusable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery, identify bottlenecks, and define success metrics
• Design and ship production agents, AI applications, and coding-agent workflows
• Launch initial versions quickly and harden them through rollout, monitoring, and iteration
• Own production quality through tracing, evaluations, debugging, and latency and cost tradeoffs
• Build tools, MCP servers, retrieval, rules, skills, CI gates, and evaluations
• Integrate systems with customer authentication, data, workflows, and delivery systems
• Measure business and engineering outcomes
• Communicate tradeoffs and results to technical and domain leaders
• Enable customers to operate delivered systems and convert learnings into reusable patterns

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science
• Production coding and code-review experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience owning a customer or operator outcome and shipping scoped systems
• Experience building and owning production AI-native workflows or agents
• Production reliability experience, including metrics, alerts, safe rollouts, and incident response
• End-to-end engineering capability across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and prompt iteration
• Ability to communicate with engineers and executives
