# Founding Full-Stack / Frontend Developer ## Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Founding Full-Stack / Frontend Developer to join our team as one of the first engineering hires. This is a unique opportunity to lay the technical foundation for a fast-growing, early-stage startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science from a tier-1 Indian institution (IIT, BITS, NIT), 3-5 years of experience in early-stage startups, and technical expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Familiarity with cloud and API integrations is essential. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product, technology stack, and engineering culture. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - Build robust backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration and high performance. - Drive cloud integration efforts to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. - Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and product roadmaps. - Set up and maintain best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation. - Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on product features based on user feedback and business needs. ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a tier-1 college in India (IIT, BITS, NIT required). - 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack or frontend developer, preferably in an early-stage startup environment. - Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native application development. - Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. ## Preferred Skills - Prior experience as a founding or early engineering team member. - Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. - Familiarity with additional frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., Next.js, Redux). - Working knowledge of backend development using Node.js or similar technologies. - Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL). - Passion for building 0-to-1 products and thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. ## Experience - 3-5 years of relevant experience in full-stack or frontend development, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked at early-stage startups. - Demonstrated track record of building and launching web applications from scratch. ## Environment - Dynamic, startup environment with high ownership and autonomy. - Flexible work arrangements (location not specified; remote/hybrid options may be discussed). - Fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-driven culture. ## Salary - ₹12,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and skill set). ## Benefits - Opportunity to join as a founding team member and shape the company’s future. - Equity/ESOP options (if applicable; to be discussed during interview). - Fast career progression and leadership opportunities. - Direct access to founders and decision-makers. - Flexible work policies. ## Growth Opportunities - Rapid career advancement into technical leadership or CTO roles. - Opportunity to recruit and mentor future engineering team members. - Influence over technology choices and product direction. - Potential for significant equity and long-term wealth creation as an early team member.
