Group financial controller

We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller with interest and experience in driving continued improvements to our financial reporting process to join us at our global headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.

As Group Financial Controller, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of the Oterra Group's financial reporting. The group financial reporting is prepared in accordance with IFRS and the accounting principles applied under Oterra’s senior financing agreements.

You will report to the Head of Group Controlling & Reporting, but close collaboration with finance teams across the Group Finance, Group Tax, Group Treasury, Business Finance, and senior management is expected to ensure high-quality financial information is delivered to stakeholders.

In addition to supporting and controlling selected global sales and production subsidiaries, you will be part of developing and improving our group consolidation system, SAP Group Reporting, and related processes including data collection, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, ownership management and validation rules.

We imagine that you have a relevant master’s degree or alternatively, a diploma degree and bring at least eight years of relevant experience from similar roles within a global finance organization maybe combined with experience from consulting or auditing.

You have strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with consolidation systems (e.g., SAP Group Reporting, BPC, OneStream, HFM).

Just as importantly, you are able to communicate complex financial matters in a clear and pragmatic way. You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively across functions, cultures, and geographies.
