Description
UpSlide is the document production layer for financial services.

As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, with 14+ years supporting financial services teams, we bring together expertise from the tech, finance and design fields to help clients like KPMG, BNP Paribas, Rothschild & Co. boost productivity while improving brand consistency across their corporate documents.
We are a certified B Corporation, upholding the belief that businesses should have a positive impact on society.
Our values ✨
Our values guide our approach to work and are at the heart of our recruitment process. To join our team, we look for individuals who value:
Excellence: We think that every detail counts, and we place great importance on the quality of our deliverables.
Trust: We are passionate, committed, and free to act with autonomy.
Happiness at work: We enjoy looking on the bright side and we share our enthusiasm with our colleagues and clients.
The team 🧑🤝🧑
UpSlide is a productivity platform for Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), built for financial professionals in investment banking, private equity, asset management and advisory. Product Marketing sits at the centre of Product, Sales and Marketing: we decide how UpSlide is positioned, priced and sold.
You’ll join as Lead Product Marketing Manager, reporting directly to Matteo Bordin, our CPO. You’ll work with the PMM team, including Laure, Senior PMM, and day-to-day with Sales, Product and Marketing.
Lead PMM is level L4 on our individual contributor track, one step above Senior PMM. You won’t manage people. You will own the positioning and go-to-market of a strategic bet end to end, starting with our AI offer, and you will set standards the whole PMM team uses.
Why this role, now: AI is changing what our clients expect from their tools, and Microsoft Copilot and general AI assistants are now part of every buying conversation. We need someone who can make our value obvious in that market, price it right, and make Sales confident selling it.
Team goals: Product Marketing makes UpSlide easy to understand, easy to sell, and priced right. Concretely:
Sharpen positioning and messaging so prospects grasp the value fast.
Arm Sales to win, especially against direct competitors and “we’ll just use Copilot”.
Own pricing and packaging decisions and the reasoning behind them.
Run customer communications that drive adoption and expansion.
The impact on the business is direct: higher win rates, stronger pricing power, and shorter sales cycles.
Team goals 🎯
Product Marketing's job is to make UpSlide easy to understand, easy to sell, and priced right. Concretely, that means:
Sharpen positioning and messaging so prospects grasp the value fast.
Arm Sales to win, especially against direct competitors.
Own pricing and packaging decisions and the reasoning behind them.
Run customer communications that drive adoption and expansion.
The impact on the business is direct: higher win rates, stronger pricing power, shorter sales cycles.
Your responsibilities 🖋️
Positioning of a strategic bet (35%)
Own the positioning and go-to-market plan of a product line or strategic bet, starting with our AI offer (including MCP).
Turn a vague market topic into a clear positioning and plan, with a 12-month view.
Explain why UpSlide is a must-have next to Copilot and AI assistants, not a nice-to-have.
Ship full launch kits for the bet: messaging, sales deck, demo, customer comms.
Send a monthly pulse on the bet to the exec team.
Competitive intelligence & sales enablement (35%)
Own competitive intelligence across direct competitors and AI entrants. Automate as much of it as you can.
Run competitive review with Product, Sales and Marketing.
Design the enablement and competitive update processes that all PMMs and Sales use.
Partner with Sales on key deals.
Pricing & packaging (20%)
Lead pricing and packaging work for your bet: options, AI usage and credit models, tiers.
Build the pricing and market sizing models behind each recommendation.
Write decision memos the exec team can decide on in one read.
Track the impact on deal size after launch.
Raising the bar in Product Marketing (10%)
Set standards adopted by all PMMs: positioning, launch tiers, competitive files.
Be the internal reference on AI in marketing.
Act as bar raiser in PMM hiring.
Choose PMM tools with the Head of Product Marketing.
🎯 Your goals
First 3 months: Learn the product, customers and competitors fast. Audit our AI offer positioning, pricing and competitive files. At the same time, start shipping: refreshed battlecards, objection handling and sales deck sections that Sales uses in live deals.
By 6 months: Can update the positioning and go-to-market plan for UpSlide. First quarterly competitive review done. Support the levelling up of the PMM team on AI.
By 9 months: You can take a brand new offering from a blank page to launch on your own: market analysis, positioning, pricing input, launch kit and sales enablement. Have clear ARR impact.
You are a great fit if you have:
8+ years in product marketing, with at least one role where you owned the positioning of a product line or a new offer, not only launches.
Significant experience in enterprise B2B sales: you’ve carried a quota in complex, high-value deals or worked hand in hand with sellers who do. This is a must.
Pricing or packaging work you led that changed deal size: the options, the data, who decided, and the result.
Results you can tie to revenue over 12 months or more, not only to pipeline, clicks or downloads.
Competitive intelligence you owned and turned into wins.
Daily, hands-on use of AI, and AI workflows you built (for example pricing models, automated competitive tracking, launch kits).
Excellent written and verbal communication in English. You can write a one-page decision memo an exec can decide on.
Based in Paris or London.
We’d love it if you have:
Experience working in or selling to financial services: investment banking, private equity, asset management or advisory. Highly appreciated.
Experience positioning or pricing an AI product, including usage or credit based models.
Experience with the Microsoft partner ecosystem (marketplace, co-sell) or the Microsoft 365 / productivity software space.
Experience supporting M&A with market or competitive analysis.
✨ If you don’t tick all the boxes but you think you’d be a great fit, please apply and tell us why.
