Hellenic Cables S.A. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join our Health & Safety department in Eleonas's Plant.
Role Description
- Conduct internal audits of industrial health and safety management systems.
- Monitor compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Identify risks, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
- Supervise workplace health and safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure continuous compliance and performance improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a Technological Educational Institution (former TEI – Greece)
- Relevant experience in industrial environment Health & Safety will be considered an asset.
- Flexibility to work in a rotating shift environment supporting continuous plant operations.
- Fluent in English.
- Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organization skills to prioritize workload.
- Ability to provide timely and effective communications to all levels of the organization.
