Location: District Wide
Hourly/Temporary Position: Less that 15 hours per week
Position Summary: Facilitates communication among students, families, and staff who are non-English speakers or hearing-impaired, as well as teachers and other school personnel. Provides interpreting and note-taking services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year interpreting experience.
Compensation: This is a non-benefited part-time job working hours less than 15 hrs per week at $30.00 per hour. A non-permanent positon may also be a full-time temporary position working 30 days or less.
Selected hire will be fingerprinted at the applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a records check.
