POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Generalist plays an important role in supporting Gateway's workforce and strengthening the overall employee experience. This position partners with department leaders and employees to identify opportunities for workplace improvement, promote positive employee relations, and support organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong HR knowledge, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.

This individual will help guide leaders through corrective action and conflict resolution, support learning and development initiatives, and contribute to the development and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs that foster a positive workplace culture.

• Position Status: Full-Time

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with organizational Human Resources policies, procedures, and applicable employment regulations.

• Partner with department leaders to identify workplace challenges and recommend effective solutions that support employee engagement and retention.

• Provide guidance and support to leadership regarding employee relations, corrective action, and conflict resolution.

• Assist in developing and implementing employee recognition, rewards, and engagement initiatives.

• Participate in analyzing employee survey results and developing action plans to improve employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

• Support employees with benefits information, enrollment questions, and general benefits administration.

• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential personnel files and employee records.

• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workplace communication, and overall employee experience.

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leadership across the organization.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or equivalent HR position.

• Previous experience with recruitment and selection processes.

• Experience supporting employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR administration.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.

COMPENSATION

Annual Salary Range: $57,749.02 – $86,623.53

Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including education, years of relevant experience, professional certifications, and job-related skills. Individual compensation will be discussed during the hiring process and aligned with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
