Standard Job Description

The Level 3 Industrial Engineer will lead end‑to‑end value‑stream analyses and develop integrated process‑improvement roadmaps, while designing, simulating, and validating advanced manufacturing layouts, work‑cell configurations, and automation solutions. In this role, you will manage and mentor Level 1–2 Industrial Engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and performance feedback. You will conduct detailed time‑study, method‑study, ergonomic, and capacity‑planning analyses, producing robust SOPs and work instructions, and own key Lean/Six‑Sigma projects (e.g., Kaizen, DMAIC) from charter through implementation and sustainment. The position requires developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and using statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, Python, R) to drive data‑based decision making. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams—including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering—is essential to align engineering solutions with program requirements. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders, and support acquisition, integration, and certification activities as needed (e.g., DoD, ISO standards).
