# Informatica Senior Test Engineer ## Company Overview Not specified. ## Job Summary We are looking for a **Senior Test Engineer** with strong expertise in **Informatica Master Data Management (MDM)**, **Informatica Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)**, SQL, and data testing methodologies. The role requires deep experience in functional and data validation testing across on-premise and cloud platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable data solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to drive the testing lifecycle end-to-end while collaborating with business, development, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute **test strategies**, **test plans**, and **test cases** for Informatica MDM, ETL, and data integration projects. - Validate ETL mappings, transformations, and workflows in **Informatica PowerCenter**/**Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)**. - Perform data migration, reconciliation, and regression testing for large and complex datasets. - Conduct SQL-based validations for data accuracy, completeness, performance, and consistency. - Ensure integration testing of Informatica solutions with **Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)**/**Customer Relationship Management (CRM)** systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) and other third-party systems. - Develop test datasets and simulate production-like scenarios to ensure reliability. - Identify defects, document issues, and track resolutions using tools like **JIRA**, **Azure DevOps**, or **HP ALM**. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. - Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure testing aligns with requirements and acceptance criteria. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers in the team. ## Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience in **Informatica MDM Testing** (Match-Merge, Survivorship, Hierarchy Manager, IDD). - Expertise in **ETL Testing** with Informatica PowerCenter / IICS. - Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation across RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) and cloud databases (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift). - Good understanding of **Data Testing** methodologies. - Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with data warehouses and data lakes. - Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. - Knowledge of automation testing tools for ETL processes. ## Experience - Minimum of **5 years** of experience in testing roles, with a focus on Informatica technologies and data validation. ## Environment Not specified. ## Salary Not specified. ## Growth Opportunities Not specified. ## Benefits Not specified.
