Design Modern Learning Experiences
- Apply adult learning principles to create practical, relevant and memorable learning experiences.

- Design learning that reflects the realities of frontline work, including limited time away from the operation, varying levels of experience, seasonal employment and access primarily through mobile or shared devices.
- Incorporate scenario-based learning, storytelling, branching activities, knowledge checks, practice opportunities and other interactive techniques that strengthen comprehension and retention.
- Determine when formal training is appropriate and when a job aid, performance-support tool, communication or other resource would better meet the need.
- Use AI-assisted authoring, narration, image, video, and editing capabilities thoughtfully to improve development speed while maintaining content accuracy, brand standards, accessibility and an authentic Pursuit experience.
- Apply accessibility and inclusive-design principles so learning can be successfully used by a diverse team member population.

Evaluate the underlying business and performance need, understand desired outcome and determine the right learning format for the audience.
- Organize complex or technical information into logical, learner-friendly content.
- Identify outdated, duplicative or conflicting source material and work with subject-matter experts to resolve gaps before development.

Measure and Improve
- Align on learning effectiveness metrics up front and establish a process to measure, track and communicate.
- Develop meaningful assessments that measure understanding and the ability to apply learning, not simply content completion or recall.
