Qualifications:
Must possess a valid State of Ohio Superintendent license or be legally eligible to serve in the position

Salary:
The board will issue a contract for the remainder of the school year and provide a competitive compensation package.

The Elyria Board of Education has identified the following qualifications as being of particular importance:

• Demonstrated successful administrative leadership experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide leadership, stability, and continuity of district operations during the transition
