As a Billing Intern in our Healthcare group at Forvis Mazars, you will assist long-term healthcare clients with facilitating monthly accounts receivable and billing functions. How you will contribute:
- Working collaboratively with a team in multiple software systems to prepare and bill claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers
- Maintaining accounts receivable aging and related reports
- Posting payments to patient accounts
- Reconciling patient accounts
- Assisting clients with billing and related regulatory matters
- Delivering Forvis Mazars’ commitment to an Unmatched Client Experience™ through timely and responsive communication with internal personnel and external clients

- A background in healthcare accounting, medical billing, or accounts receivable is helpful
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected
- Interns must maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
