This role reports to the Global Vice President of Sales – Global Accounts & Verticals and carries end-to-end accountability for Manufacturing vertical growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align offerings to key Manufacturing priorities such as smart factory transformation, Industry 4.0, edge computing, supply chain resilience, and sustainability

  • Evolve and optimize vertical sales motions, including segmentation, value proposition, coverage models, and route-to-market strategy

  • Strengthen Lenovo’s Manufacturing go-to-market strategy, increasing market relevance and competitive differentiation

  • Scale and standardize repeatable GTM models that improve pipeline consistency and revenue predictability

Sales Development & Pipeline Acceleration

  • Strengthen and expand demand generation and sales development engines to increase pipeline across existing and underpenetrated Manufacturing segments

  • Improve pipeline quality, conversion rates, and sales velocity

  • Expand footprint within strategic Manufacturing accounts while driving new logo acquisition

  • Accelerate growth through strategic deals, lighthouse clients, and expanded customer relationships

  • Translate existing traction into greater scale, predictability, and sustained revenue growth

Team Leadership & Organizational Alignment

  • Lead and evolve a multi-disciplinary Manufacturing vertical team, including Offering Development, Solutions Architects, and specialized Manufacturing Sales Executives

  • Align teams across offering innovation, technical solutioning, and sales execution to deliver integrated, outcome-based solutions

  • Strengthen team capabilities to support both portfolio enhancement and next-stage growth

  • Recruit and develop talent to match the technical and domain depth required in Manufacturing environments

  • Establish clear accountability and operating rhythms to drive performance and collaboration

Ecosystem & Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Partner with Service Offerings, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and ecosystem partners to refine and expand Manufacturing-specific solutions

  • Build and strengthen partnerships across OEMs, ISVs, and system integrators relevant to Manufacturing transformation

  • Align global and regional teams around Manufacturing vertical priorities and execution plans

Operational Excellence

  • Own vertical performance metrics, including pipeline growth, revenue, win rate, attach rate, and margin

  • Use data and insights to continuously refine strategy, optimize execution, and prioritize investments

Basic Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, vertical GTM, or business leadership within technology or services

  • Proven track record of scaling and evolving an existing Manufacturing or industry vertical portfolio

  • Demonstrated ability to improve pipeline generation, sales effectiveness, and revenue performance
